Photo-Journalism
I received my first camera when I was in 5th grade. It was the Canon Powershot A2300 and I was given that camera to take pictures of my first trip to Disney World. My mom bought me that camera because it was the cheapest one at Best Buy and she thought I wouldʻve broken it on the trip. That same camera is still in working order 7 years later. My mom would not know that she had just inspired me to become interested in photography. I love taking photos of anything from something as small as an action figure, to a large monument, I love photography. When I travel, I always make sure to have my camera by my side to capture the moment that captivated me. I have since upgraded to a Canon PowerShot SX530 HS that has allowed me to take even more quality photos. Below are some of the photos that I have taken for the newspaper and have been used for photo slideshows.
